About this tool.
Three input modes: a click-to-toggle matrix for owner / group / other × read / write / execute, an octal field (3 or 4 digits, accepts setuid / setgid / sticky in the leading digit), and a symbolic field (rwxr-xr-x, accepts the leading file-type character). Output covers short and 4-digit octal, short and ls-style symbolic, a ready-to-paste chmod command, and warnings for risky combinations like world-writable and dangling setuid bits.
